It is time that I start a budget every month on my spending habits. For now on I am going to limit myself to ONE or TWO (depending on the price) makeup product a month (we will see how this goes). Being an Undergrad student is rough enough and my little job doesn't pay much, so a budget is the best way to go. I spent $80 at MAC last week for Hello Kitty, purchasing the Purse Mirror and "Popster" TLC. Along with that order I needed some more Studio Fix Powder and I have had "Carbon" eyeshadow on my list for months, so finally decided to get that to. As for how much I spent I think I did pretty good. I plan to get one more makeup item this month from Nars, the highlighter "Albatross". I plan to use this as a face and brow highlighter, which saves money because now I don't have to spend more money on a separate highlight for my brow. Versatile products are the best! 

Makeup want list

So, i've been neglecting my makeup collection and haven't purchased any new products in awhile, but I have come up with a list of some new things I want to try , old things I haven't gotten around to and things I am running low on.

Mac Studio Fix Powder & Fluid - I have been using the powder since I started wearing MAC a couple of years ago, but I purchased the fluid last summer and LOVED it, so I will get both. Powder for when I am in a rush and the fluid for when I want a flawless face.

MAC 109 Brush- I desperately NEED a foundation brush for my Studio Fix Fluid and I have heard this brush will do the job. Im not really interested in the 187 as I feel it might make my foundation look streaky.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural- Love this over my studio finish just for those days I have class or need to run a quick errand, although this has been my everyday face because I am out of my Studio Fix =(

MAC Studio Finish Concealer- Running extra low on this!

NARS Night Breed- I don't have a black eyeshadow, so I figure I would give this one a try and if it doesn't work for me then pick up MAC Carbon. I have one other NARS eyeshadow in Party Monster, which is a light purple with gold flecks. I rarely use it because it comes on very ashy.

NYX Jumbo Pencils- I've always wanted to try these, so I really want them in  Milk  and Black Bean .

That is about all I NEED and want, but I am pretty sure my list will grow. ♥

Target goodies

Today I went to Target to run an errand for my mom and with no surprise I came out with some of my own goodies. Hello Kitty goodies! There's that section at Target that sells items for like really cheap and they almost always have Hello Kitty things, which I dare not pass up. I picked up 2 magnetic picture frames, a puzzle, 2 mini notepads and the pink tub thingy, which  is not Hello Kitty, but I just had to get. I don't know exactly what I will use the tub for, but when I get back to my dorm from the long holiday break I am pretty sure I will find some type of use for it. Oh and the thing that is shaped like Hello Kitty I did not get from Target. While at Disney for Christmas I went to Downtown Disney to the big Virgin music store and they had the cute tins with lip gloss at the register and because it was Hello Kitty I HAD to have it. I figure it will get me pumped up for the new collection from her at MAC, which I am excited about and will post my list of all I want soon. ♥

Betseyville wristlet

I just ordered my first Betsey Johnson bag and I am sooooooo excited for it to come! It is a clutch/wristlet, but I will most likely use it as a wallet. The only downside of using it as a wallet is that it doesn't have any slots to hold cards, like my license and debit card. That isn't much of a big deal because this bag was too cute to pass up. I wanted the small tote in the same type of print, but school is about to start back up and book money is more important at the moment.  The bag zips up and also comes with a mirror that is located on the inside of the flap, which is perfect because now I won't have to worry about throwing my pink Heatherette compact inside my bag all the time with always being afraid of losing it. The price was pretty decent at 30.oo, but the shipping was a bit too much, but it will all be worth it once I finally have the bag in my hands! ♥
